Complex, sweet, distinctly a wild sweet lemon and floral tones with a hint of nuttiness. OR by an industry veteran: “Lemon/jasmine front palate, creamy mid palate and chocolate and malt finish”

It is our signature blend 100% Arabica coffee medium dark roasted with a fine balance of origins from Latin America, Central America, Eastern Arabia and Indonesia.

We serve this highly popular Highlander Coffee Quattro house blend daily at our espresso bar patronised by discerning executives, bankers, consultants, doctors, nurses, architects, designers etc.

Brazil

A sweet, low acidity, balanced bodied coffee with a hint of nuttiness.

Region: Santos, Sao Paulo.

Altitude: 800 to 1200M.

Santos Brazils are the most traditional Brazil coffee and has been dried inside the fruit (dry-processed) so that some of the sweetness of the fruit carries into the cup. Santos is a market name referring to the port through which these coffees are traditionally shipped.

Brazil is the world’s largest coffee producer and also the most complex, delivering mass produced coffees that rank among the world’s cheapest to elegant coffees prized as the world’s finest origins for espresso brewing. Brazil’s internal consumption of coffee is also increasing and is expected to overtake that of the USA (The current largest world consumer) in the next few years.

Ethiopia

Lemon and citrus, with bright crisp acidity.

Region: Sidamo; Province in the forest of Kaffa region.
Altitude: 1800 to 2200M.
The most distinctive flavour notes found in all Sidamo coffees are lemon and citrus, with bright crisp acidity. Ethiopia is thought to be the birthplace of coffee with wild growing coffea arabica being found in the forests of the Kaffa region. Ethiopia is the world’s 7th largest producer of coffee, and Africa’s top producer. Half of the coffee is consumed by Ethiopians, and the country leads the continent in domestic consumption. The method of producing coffee in Ethiopia has not changed much since the 10th century, with nearly all work, cultivating and drying, still done by hand.
